Cairo.
is the capital of Egypt and the largest city in Africa and Arab world , located near Nile delta With a population of 6.76 million,suffers from high levels of pollution and traffic, but its metro one of only two metros on the African continent .
Cairo has the oldest and largest film and music industries in the Arab world, as well as the world's second-oldest institution of higher learning, al-azhar university. Many international media, businesses, and organizations have regional headquarters in the city; the Arab League has had its headquarters in Cairo for most of its existence.

Places to visit in Cairo:

1-The old market Khan el-khalili

one of the oldest neighborhoods in Cairo and the souk dates back to 1382,  there are several coffeehouses, restaurants, and street food vendors distributed throughout the market. The coffee shops are generally small and quite traditional, serving arabic coffee and usually offering shisha. Al-Hussein Mosque is also in Khan el-Khalili and Al-Azhar Mosque.

you can visit also Fishawi cafe one of the oldest cafes in Egypt , many of Celebrity used to sit on it ( writer Naguib Mahfouz , king Farouk )

2-Pyramids of Giza

There are hundreds of pyramids already discovered around the planet:  - in Egypt there are about 110 discovered, and studies suggest that many more are still buried beneath the desert sand.
some people say that the Great Pyramid of Giza is the most famous wonder because it is the oldest and it is also the only one to remain largely intact.
pyramids was built as a tomb for the Egyptian Pharaohs .

The Great Pyramid
one of the Seven Wonders its Height 146 meter ,Weights of cut stones is Ranges between tons and eight tons.
King Khufu built this pyramid in 2650 B.C
Took to build the Great Pyramid about 20 years ,The number of workers was about 100,000 workers .

Pyramid of Khafre
its height is 136 meter and connected with temple for religious rituals, in this temple the reception the King during his visit to oversee the construction of the pyramid

The Pyramid of Menkaure
its height is 66 meter 

The Sphinx

The Sphinx dates to the reign of king Khafre. A chapel was located between its forepaws that had unfortunate history of being repeatedly destroyed by unusual circumstances. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet and this structure was added onto by later rulers.
